Fancy Flight Suit
Fancy Flight Suit
So, in my headcanon, since Shepard is the first human spectre, she gets to design the first human spectre dress uniform. And obviously, my Shep has a flair for the dramatic – gold nameplate, medals, wings and bling … Simple Texmod (.tpf) replacement for the Scientist Uniform (must have all NPC casual appearances added via Coalesced to use this mod).
I don’t know why I can never get this armor to work on the game. I unlocked all outfits, and put both tpf files on texmod, but it never shows up. Under casual outfits there are 3 or 4 outfits that appear to be missing textures, maybe it’s one of them I don’t know, but the science outfit appears to be unchanged. It looks gorgeous and I don’t to play the game without it haha.
It’s because the TPF replaces one of the alternate scientist suits – you need to use Mother of All Mods coalesced edit to unlock that scientist suit in the wardrobe :)
So if this replaces the green scientist suit, does that mean all NPCs that use that will now be wearing this? If so, is there a way to make it replace something that only Shepard wears, like say the leather dress?
Yes, the green scientist suit would then turn into the fancy flight suit for all characters wearing it. You can replace Shep’s leather dress but you would have to also replace Shepard’s leather dress mesh with the scientist mesh as well as recode the .tpf file for the leather dress rather than the scientist outfit. It can be kind of tedious – to be fair, I haven’t seen a lot of NPC’s wearing the green scientist dress in the game, so I never really found it a problem :)
Realized I’d never thanked you for this mod. Long overdue oversight: Thank you! My FemShep never leaves the Normandy without looking BAMF.
any chance of remake / combining your textures with the ‘hotpant’ mesh version i had from years ago…
Oooh I downloaded your hotpant mod when I first started playing! Go ahead and combine the textures if you want, or I can add it to my to-do list (but may take a while) :)
You don’t exactly leave a lot of advice on how to install this.
