Mass Effect 3: Regular vs. Premium Spectre Pack Comparison UPDATE

After some overwhelming responses of “Your sample size isn’t big enough” blah blah blah, I’ve decided to keep track of everything I purchase from here on out and get more data.  You can view my spreadsheet of raw data here – I will keep it constantly updated:

I’ve spent over 4,000,000 credits at this point.  So far, the frequency of Ultra Rares drops that I’ve gotten from Regular vs. Premium Spectre packs has been 1.76% vs. 1.82%.  This is not a very big difference, especially considering the price differential of the two packs. Thus, even though you technically may have a higher chance of getting an Ultra Rare in the PSP, the SP is still the better buy ultimately because you get so many more items at the same price (170 items vs. 110 items for the SP and PSP, respectively, even though I spent 138k more on the PSP’s).  And because you get so many more items for the same price, I was able to get 3 Ultra Rares in the SP’s vs. 2 Ultra Rares in the PSP.

Final Analysis:  SPECTRE PACK STILL WINS!

Agree?  Disagree?  Have more data for me?  Let me know in the comments or via email!
