um anyone know what to do when you’re trying to use the dlc updaters thing for the dlcs and for some reason everytime i overwrite them i have to repair my mass effect 3 since it wont work because it says its missing the dll and even then when i work it again,it says the dlcs are authorized

After using the Lafite hair mod on a new FemShep, I’ve noticed that her teeth are black/missing. Any fix?

Hello! Help me please! I can not set the texture of hair. I do according to the instructions, the correct net, but the texture is not loading. Just one big black blob. I replacing to Allers’ hairstyle (Jessica), updating PCConsoleTOC.bin, use Gibbed SaveEdit, then Texmod. The same thing happens with any other hair. If I understood correctly, in Gibbed SaveEdit we set the path for downloading texture. Digging in the game files in ME3 Explorer-Texplorer, it turned out that no section of the texture BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO Hair_Short02.HMF_HIR_PROShort_Diff. I think the problem with this. But I found this section Hair_Short02 texture in the root folder. If Gibbed SaveEdit simply write Hair_Short02.HMF_HIR_PROShort_Diff instead BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Hair_Short02.HMF_HIR_PROShort_Diff, the game will crash. Maybe how else you can ask for hair texture? Is it possible to somehow fix it?

Basically, none of this shit works right. There’s always something wrong: the hair has streaking, neck and ears turn black, face turns black, face turns some weird color, casual outfit is garbled, etc. Try a different hair mod or outfit, different problem. Reinstall game and try again, more problems. I haven’t been able to successfully install a single one of these mods without some sort of issue. I give up.

So I have got the mods working but when I use the Toyger mod…..Shepard is missing her teeth XD. Don’t know why? Any suggestions?

Great tip! I don’t know exactly what fixes it either – sometimes I’ve had it go away on its own but usually not :(

“My neck and ears turn black after modding?!”

Seeing as this is actually the only place where someone even mentions that this happens sometimes, I thought I’d leave a comment :P This happened to me recently, and I was super bummed because after all the modding I did, I really really really didn’t want to re-install – as it is such a pain for me with slow internet and blah blah blah. ANYWAY! I fixed it without a re-install =D

First, I restarted the game from the beginning (because it wasn’t very far into it when I noticed the black texture). After the intro scene, it came back – same problem.

I did two things that I thought might fix it – so I can’t be sure which one was the problem, but both super easy anyway.

1.) for some reason, I had one of the hair mods that started wrong in my CookedPCConsole folder (it was _.Biog or something instead of the usual BIOG_) Deleted this.

2.) typically when I was swapping through different hairs and I was copy and pasting that same file, I was copying AND replacing – did not do that this time. Just full replaced.Then me3explorer update and VOILA!

No idea if this will help anyone else who experiences this but it’s worth a shot =)
