I use Total Character Makeover + Natural Eyes + ApachiiSkyHair (and ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul. The first two mods apply to all characters, Apachii applies only to your character, so that’s what the NPC overhaul is for.)

Oh yeah, and I also use A Vanity Mirror, which allows you to change your character’s appearance whenever you want. I use it to change her hairstyle and warpaint :)

In reply to basbada. If you're going to take close-up pics, I recommend going with SG simply because the skin texture is much more realistic and pretty up close. Univision I find to be a little flat up close, but it looks really cool from a little more distance :D

univision or SG, univision OR SG. this is gonna be a hard choice.
no more blocky faces looks like ugly vanilla, i have used coverwomen to much, bellas better females looks… off in some way (maybe it’s the nose), women in skyrim looks a little better than bella’s but not by much. but sg and uni are so good looking, realistic or anime, realistic or anime.

I was too looking for a realistic yet nice set of textures, this really helped out :) I tried Real Girl once, and it looks different depending on which ENB you use, but most of times it looks great – especially with Elder Blood ENB. The textures look incomplete though :(

You are so right about SG Face Textures Renewal. I wanted to play an orc but until I used that mod I was never really happy with how she looked. I do use a bunch of other mods for my orc (those poor orc girls need a lot of help), SG Face Textures Renewal was the final touch. Thanks for the blog.

Hello, I was wondering if SG Face Textures Renewal is a replacer mod for all NPCs too or is it only for personal characters? The Nexus description page or its comments didn’t explain much. I was hoping to use Better Females Natural Edition/Coverwomen with Bijin Warmaidens and Wives for NPCs

Thank you for the article and pictures. It was super helpful to see the immediate comparison. I love the character in the title picture. Can you tell me what mods you used for that one? Eyes, face, body, armor, etc.
