what about when [spoiler] anders blows up the chantry? that was my “holy crap!” moment…. and i romanced him… and somehow had the urge to slap him. real hard. but sebastian pressed it so hard, couldn’t do it. ^^

my impression of the fight with orsino was spoiled by my sheer disbelief that he could be so stupid as to do that spell at THAT moment, and attack his allies. But yeah, the scene with Leandra and also Merril’s final quest to repair the mirror, where I had to kill the entire dalish camp. It never even occurred to me until after I had finished the game that maybe I could have avoided that fight. At the time I was just saying to myself ‘oh my god.’ over and over.
